Met Commander Sentenced

Metropolitan Police Commander Ali Dizaei has been sentenced to four years for assaulting and falsely arresting a man in a dispute over £600.

Southwark Crown Court was told Waad Al-Baghdadi was arrested by Dizaei in a row over work on the officer's website.

Dizaei, 47, was convicted of both misconduct in a public office and perverting the course of justice.

Prosecutor Peter Wright QC said he was guilty of a "wholesale abuse of power" motivated by self-interest and pride.

Dizaei was ordered to spend two years in prison and two years on licence.

I've been waiting for this *beepr* to make a mistake and finally get caught. The racist, fraudulent *beepr* has been milking the system for years! And the *beep* stupid PC brigade (not police constables, the other tossers), have been backing him. Hope he enjoys the comradeship that he gets, and deserves, in jail!

He played the race card for so long he must have had a complete pack in his pocket. I wonder if he'll be in the ordinary part of the prison or will he be given special treatment.

If he is'nt given special treatment, he'll say that its racism. I think that because of his position in the police force he should have been sentenced to many more years in prison. Who knows how much more he abused his position.

This is what comes of giving promotions based on ratios of colour or religion. I would imagine there were much more suitable candidates for the positions he took on the ladder to the top, but it had to be shown (by the illustrious PC brigade) that equal opportunities exist for non qualified thieving corrupt *poop* like this!
It's a *beep* disgrace, and I doubt that it's the only one!

Totally agree Barry - there will be loads more and hopefully they'll get caught too

Sadly there always was and always will be corruption in the police force, I doubt they will put him in amongst the other inmates, he wont last long if they do.
