Princes First Double Portrait

Postby ladyDeWint » Thu Jan 07, 2010 1:18 pm

The first oil portrait of Princes William and Harry was unveiled yesterday - with all parties declaring themselves delighted at the result.

Artist Nicky Philipps said she felt ' particularly pleased' with Harry's profile - including what she described as his broken nose.

And the balding Wills will not be complaining that he has been given rather more hair than he actually possesses.

The brothers, aged 25 and 27, had never been persuaded to pose formally for an artist before.

A bit too casual, perhaps . I like regal portraits to be full frontal. :-)
Ask yourself why, then post the answer.

Prince Harry strongly resembles his uncle.

Yes, Harry also has a resemblance to James Hewitt. But it's often the case that people can be subconsciously attracted to someone who resembles their family. For instance....one morning back in 1980, I woke up and, being only half-awake, turned over, took a look at my wife and literally shot out of bed (honest truth). I hadn't realised it before, but my wife who was asleep beside me looked EXACTLY like my sister. For one second, I had the biggest bloody fright of my life thinking I was in bed with my sister. From then on, I was aware that there WAS a resemblance that I hadn't noticed before.
Besides...Prince Harry couldn't be James Hewitt's son. What a laugher it would be for a prince to be called "Harry Hewitt" (Coronation Street). :-)

Just a little evidence of how prelevant the ginger gene is in the Spencer family. No wonder Harry is ginger.

Why do people find it so hard to accept? :? I thought the world of Dianna, but look at the twat she married, and how he treated her! I admire Hewitt for keeping it low profile, but come on, take a good look!

I'm not saying it's hard to accept; I've occasionally thought about it myself. But there IS a resemblance between Di's brother and Mr. Hewitt. Plus, with her televised admissions of a clandestine relationship with Mr. Hewitt, without a DNA test, it's a toss-up.

and I find it so hard to understand why they want it to be so without a scrap of evidence.................so Harry is ginger so what, so were the maternal half of his gene pool.............I'm no Royalist but Diana is dead so why do they want to keep on tormenting her son it's beyond me.
