They need to be clear on their evidence. There was a case in Oz recently, where an elderly man had been accused of a murder of a young Jewish man in Hungary. The man concerned seemed to have evidence he wasn't there at the time. The Australian Minister in charge was hell-bent on sending this old chap to Hungary for examination and then, presumably, a trial. Fortunately, a court here ruled the Minister to be quite wrong. Obviously the Minister was zealously politically over-correct (Labour Party, of course).
